Our private tours pick-up from (and drop-off to) a range of Kangaroo Island accommodations, including One Kangaroo Island and Southern Ocean Lodge.

Please note We do not take standalone accommodation bookings. All accommodation booked via Exceptional Kangaroo Island must be booked as part of a touring package.

Note: Our small group tours pick-up from (and drop off to) accommodation located in Kingscote, Emu Bay, and American River. Within this zone, there is a range of accommodation options, as well as Kingscote (Kangaroo Island) Airport if you are arriving or departing the island on the day of touring.

Ozone Hotel

The Ozone Hotel is Kangaroo Island's largest accommodation. It is located in Kingscote and features contemporary 4 star rooms.

Mercure Kangaroo Island Lodge

The Mercure Kangaroo Island Lodge is a 4-star hotel located on the waterfront of American River. The property has 38 rooms and 8 villas, and offers an excellent restaurant.

The River Suites

The River Suites is a boutique, 8 room hotel located in American River, with a superb on-site restaurant 'Samphire' offering arguably Kangaroo Island's best year-round dining.

The Ellson Hotel

The Ellson Hotel (previously known as Kangaroo Island Seaview Motel) in Kingscote is in the final stages of an extensive, multi-million dollar redevelopment, transitioning the historic property into a modern, coastal-luxe destination.

Ecopia Retreat

Located in a remote farm and bushland setting, Ecopia Retreat offers two luxury villas, each with a king bed, private bathroom and catering for up to 3 people.
