Catering exclusively for couples, these four contemporary villas are glass-fronted with wide vistas over rolling paddocks to Lathami Conservation Park and expansive views of the north coast and Investigator Strait. The open plan design is spacious, heated in winter with a wood fire, and has a large bathroom with shower, free-standing tub, sauna and hot tub out on the front deck. The villas are set well away from each other, guaranteeing privacy and solitude. Hosts live nearby on the property and are only a phone call away. Touring is private only, includes a catering package and has a minimum 2-night stay.
Being built on pasture adjacent a large conservation park abundant wildlife sightings are a certainty in the evenings and early mornings. Although there is a television provided it is hard to compete with the views out across the north coast and Investigator Strait give a great sense of space and make for a great place to relax. Internally the villas have an elegant contemporary design with luxury appointments and the work of local artists grace the walls.
The villas have three rooms – a large bathroom with access onto a glass-fronted deck with hot-tub, a King double bed- room with slow-combustion wood heater, and an open plan kitchen, dining and living space. We offer this on a full-board basis with hosts providing dinners and breakfast provisions. Ecopia is situated on the north coast not far from Stokes Bay and is about 30 minutes drive from the airport. Due to its isolation from other accommodation venues touring is on a private basis only unless guests are self-driving in which case they can meet our tours at the Kingscote Airport.
