The Lodge offers a selection of all-inclusive experiences, each is short duration (1 – 4 hour) and mainly located within 45 minutes drive, and guided by their in-house Experiences Team. Where the services of Exceptional Kangaroo Island come into play is with those guests with either minimal time or want private experiences throughout their stay.
Efficient tour options include starting at the airport and ending at the Lodge or touring on departure and ending at the airport – negating the need for arrival or departure transfers, ensuring guests make the best use of often limited leisure time and maximise their enjoyment of this beautiful property. Exceptional Kangaroo Island offers Southern Ocean Lodge guests access to regions and experiences not included in the suite of Lodge experiences including our signature elegant al fresco dining.
Guests can choose wildlife encounters, landscape exploration, local food and wine producers, family-friendly activities, multi-mode adventures, meeting wildlife researchers or activities suited to those celebrating special events. We can also focus on photography, birdwatching, and even visiting local artists studios.
